Went to Sweet Tomatoes the other night and did really well. Had salad items and vegetable with fat free ranch dressing ( not sure of the Weight Watcher point value), some Chicken Noodle soup with a few pieces of chicken, broth and very few noodles and also a very small serving of low fat frozen yogurt. The rest of the day I had done very well with points, so I feel that for the day I was fine.
Yesterday I had Oatmeal for breakfast=3 points, a mid-morning light English muffin=1 point. For lunch I had my turkey sandwich with light cheese=3 points. For dinner I had some pulled pork and a small serving of mashed potatoes.
On the scale this morning I was 5 pounds over my most recent low, and about 45 pounds from where I would like to be...

I have been feeling highly motivated this whole week with my weight loss and that is a wonderful place to be. The only problem is trying to eat all the points that I'm allowed in a day.
There is a friend of the Doctor that I work for, who comes to the office most mornings for coffee, breakfast and company and usually ends up in my office (located right next to the kitchen) to visit. Yesterday he mentioned that one of my colleagues was losing weight. I told him that I was losing weight also, and he said "I don't think you can do it" and basically challenged me to lose 5 pounds by the end of the month. That to me is very motivating. I took the challenge.

I think that I have Dan on track with me. When I got home from work I smelled chili in the crock pot. He had used ground turkey, crushed tomatoes, kidney and pinto beans. I'm not sure of the exact Weight Watcher points, but don't think it would be to bad.
The day over all was a good day. Am feeling very motivated again and it is much easier to stick with my plan. At work we had both breakfast and lunch brought in and I was able to only eat from my lunch box. I had brought my turkey sandwhich on the Arnolds sandwhich thin, a banana and a packet no sugar added hot chocolate (1 point).
My total daily points (not counting the chili, because I'm not sure what they would have been) was 8.

Weight Watcher points 12/5/09 = 23
I also did ten minutes of aerobic warm up on the Wii and the twenty minutes of free step. It was a great day.

I'm back on track. Dan came home from the store today with bacon, eggs, waffles and a pecan ring. I had just finished a half hour of yoga and boxing on the WII fit and knew that I had to get out of the house. Dan said, "What's the problem, are you taking this seriously again?" I informed him that yes I am taking this seriously again (and wish he were too). I decided to go to the store to get some healthy food for the week and Dan decided to come along. I'm excited about having a healthy week, we bought Smart Ones, Arnold sandwich thins, blueberries, light granola and Cool Whip lite.
I also realized that one of my staples, Act One Butter Lovers Popcorn is a whopping 9 Weight Watcher points, and had to make the switch to a 100 calorie mini bag. This may have been one of the contributors to my weight loss plateau.
Time for me to be vigilant again, so easy to underestimate how much or be overly optimistic about what I am eating.
